comment As a homeowner on a limited budget, I had a vision for my backyard and engaged a couple of contractors. Ultimately, I chose David Hernandez because of his confidence and expertise. During our initial meeting, he brought a catalog of paver options and provided transparent pricing per square foot to set expectations upfront. When I received the quote, it was handwritten and included the total cost of time and materials needed for the job. The work instructions were provided as an addendum to the quote, which is a standard practice that can easily be found online. The quote was within my budget and reasonable for the work that needed to be done. David and his team worked hard on site from 8 am to 6 pm every day until the job was completed. When I asked David how to make my backyard more peaceful and Zen-like, he suggested building a curved walkway to my sidewalk and adding an elevated outdoor patio with an L-shaped bench. Both suggestions turned out beautifully. In addition, David helped me install and lay PVC pipes underneath the pavers for a sprinkler system in the front and backyard without any additional charges. When I expressed a concern about the depth of the bench, David called me personally to address the issue. He assured me that he would rebuild the bench to meet my expectations, and he did just that. Overall, I was impressed with David and his team's focus on meeting my needs and providing excellent customer service. I highly recommend David for paver project

comment We did extensive research when planning the design and construction of our outdoor patio. David was one of 4 companies we contacted for design ideas and project bids. David's bid was the lowest, but that is not the reason we picked him to install our patio and fire pit. He came to us with creative ideas about how to enhance our project with lighting and unique trim and make it fit our space beautifully. His team was professional, courteous and friendly! They did a great job of keeping the job site tidy and to lessen the disruption of our lives during the construction. They worked 6 days a week during some of the hottest days of the summer to get this job completed in the timeframe that was promised! We are SO happy with the completed project! It turned out better than we had even hoped! We would HIGHLY recommend David Hernandez Pavers for any patio paver, fire-pit, retaining wall or any other outdoor project you might have, they are AWESOME! Thank you David and crew!

comment UNBELIEVABLE TRANSFORMATION! We received several similar quotes and design ideas before making the decision to work with David. He assured us from the beginning that we wouldn't be disappointed and he was correct! In spite of freezing cold, pouring rain and very hard and rocky terrain, the team showed up each day and worked HARD with smiles the entire time. They leveled our swampy bowl of a yard and installed a beautiful retaining wall with lights and bench seating, a paver walkway from the gate in the front of the house all the way to the absolutely gorgeous paver patio extension as well as turf in the yard and a dog run on the other side of the house. The work was meticulously executed and the results are more beautiful that we imagined. Every step of the way, our questions were answered and our ideas implemented as quickly as conversations were had. When something wasn't to David's standard, he had no problem starting over to make it perfect. It was a pleasure to watch this crew work so well together and have such pride in their work. All our rose bushes were carefully dug up and placed in the raised bed behind the retaining wall. I asked about the possibility of removing 3 larger arborvitae trees in front of the house and mentioned that, in the future, we might need to get a gate for the side yard dog run. Before I knew it, the trees were gone & replaced with new sod and David came on Saturday to build a gate from scratch for our side yard! We highly recommend David for your project and are confident he will do everything possible to ensure you are pleased with the outcome.

comment Darvin and crew are the BEST!! Our house being on a hill had unique requirements for the backyard and side yard project with limited space and unfriendly terrain. Darvin patiently worked with us listening keenly on what we were desiring and offering lots of great suggestions which ultimately resulted in great outcome that we are very pleased with. He strives for perfection and has literally reworked one of the complex piece multiple times patiently to get it to perfect looking. He never hesitated to tear down a completed work item if we were not 100% satisfied and addressed our needs gladly. He takes great pride in his work and would not settle down for mediocrity. He made us feel very comfortable discussing our project ideas in detail and several improvisation all along accommodating everything without any pushback. comment Darvin and his team are extremely professional and communicative. They did an amazing job on our backyard and we are so happy with their work. The pavers, the accent rocks, the Astro turf, lights, etc. are all done to perfection. They were punctual, provided frequent updates, gave lots of great ideas and suggestions so we can choose what we wanted, and cleaned up very well when they were done. Highly, highly recommend Darvin.
